35 years of dedication, hard work, never ending commitments and ever lasting responsibilities…. You should be real tired and stressed out by now and you deserve some rest. Congrats on your retirement dad. YOU ARE THE BEST.
We know how much you and mom strived to raise us. Bringing up four kids is a great challenge, but you stood for it and accomplished it in an outstanding way. No one else could have done better. In my 25 years of life, I have never felt you could have done better because you always gave us the best. You never compromised in providing us what we want or felt large family as a burden. You stood brave while in trouble, neither panicked nor lost the smile on your face. You tried every possible way (agriculture, real estate, transport, shares, hostel…) and sailed this large ship to its destination. Now it is our turn to take good care of the tired sailor. The underlying truth is that, " Its hard to sail a huge ship to its destination through all the storms and cyclones out there, but if you could make it to the destination – the pay back is high". You proved yourselves as successful parents and now its our turn to prove. We admire the smile on your face and your attitude towards life. Dad...You are a true inspiration .
As some one said "retirement is from work, not from life" . I know you still have responsibilities but the best part is, Now you have children to share them. I have loads of feelings, but short of words to express them. Thanks for every thing you gave us. We feel blessed to be your children.

Living With Violence
Violence..Violence.. and Violence every where. It was Mumbai in 2006, Hyderabad in 2007 and now... Jaipur in 2008. Pink city turned Red and the people shivered with fear on Tuesday after a series of bomb attacks killed at least 80 people and wounded hundreds. All these attacks have one motive in common, To fan hatred between Hindus and Muslims and create chaos in the country. Who ever is behind this... whether it may be Lashkar-e-Taiba or Jaish-e-Mohammed , they just need to realize one thing,Its not 1993 and people are not fools to fall for their wicked tricks and believe that these blasts have religious motivation. Every one in the country know that its the evil work of the insane Islamic Militant groups who are blinded by religion, do not have a clear motive, have no ability to think and courage to fight head-on. Kuddos to the 1 billion Indians who again proved that 'Bombs cannot destroy the integrity of India'.
Whether it may be the terrorist groups or our own Maoists , its the same victim every time- common man. With the increase in violence over the past few years and no region and religion to spare, Indians are getting used to what I call 'Living with violence'. With a staggering 1 billion population and more than a quarter below the poverty line and 300 million middle class people, Every day is a battle for an average Indian. With lot of promises to keep, goals to achieve and having to make ends meet, people have absolutely no time to stop and keep staring, They have to move on and nothing can stop them, neither the Terrorists nor the bombs. This is India, United we stand, United we live and United we fight against terror.

I..Me..My Self
I am a 24 year old Indian, Graduate student in America. I specialize in Information Systems. IT and money in not every thing to me, I believe life has a purpose. I love India and I will always be proud to raise my head and say I am an Indian. I am one among the millions of Indians who are happy to see India cruise to the top as a world power. I am one among the millions who are worried about the poverty, corruption, injustice and politics in India . I am one among the millions who worry about the common man in India. but I don't want to be one among the millions who speak a lot about the plight of India and finally go to bed saying "No one can change us". I am one among the few who believe they could make a difference.
